Prayer of the Sent

Each stanza follows a Tanka style... I found out that a single Tanka is too short to express what I feel that is why I innovate it into another form.

I suffered a lot
In this call which I respond
Help, Lord, who've sent me.
The battle is very tough
This mission is too heavy.

Protect me, O Lord,
From these enemies of mine.
Strengthen me, O Lord,
To win thine purpose through me.
Guide me with thine love and light.

Lord, if you've called me
I know Thou ne'er forsakest me
Guide me from these foes.
Lead me to what Thou wilt, Lord
To help me save mine brethren.
